BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Edin Forto, and the Deputy Minister, Ognjen Janjić, held a meeting with the FBiH Railways Director, Enis Džafić, the RS Railways Director, Slađan Jović, and the BiH Railway Regulatory Board Director, Tihomir Narić.

As noted by Mr. Džafić, this was the first such meeting of a BiH Minister of Communications and Transport with the management of the FBiH and RS Railways and the RRB.

Rail Corridor Vc, Electrification of the Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik railway, and safety improvement at railway crossings were stressed as the Ministry’s priorities. It was agreed to make joint efforts with the aim of improving railway transport and make significant use of EU funds for the purpose of railway sector development and modernisation.
