BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Edin Forto, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivan Sabolić, with whom he discussed a range of bilateral transport topics.

The discussion was about improving bilateral relations with particular focus on the construction of the Gradiška bridge and Brčko-Gunja bridge, transport operations on the Svilaj bridge, the need to define the Adriatic-Ionian motorway route, Corridor Vc construction works, international transport agreements implementation, the need to develop rail transport and the measures for improving transport of goods over border crossings. Currently, preparations are underway for the signature of the international agreements on the Brčko-Gunja bridge reconstruction and the Addendum to the Agreement on Maintenance and Reconstruction of Road bridges on the State Border.

The aforementioned  topics as well as other transport topics will be discussed during the meeting expected to take place soon between Minister Forto and the Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, Oleg Butković. These issues should also be on the agenda of a scheduled joint session of the BiH Council of Ministers and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
