“Digital transformation must be reflected in specific benefits and reliefs for our citizens and economy, which requires the involvement of all levels of government, economy, non-governmental organisations, and our international partners”, said Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, at today’s meeting with representatives of the development agencies, development banks, and embassies that finance and implement projects related to digital transformation in BiH, in particular the digitalisation of services and the provision of digital service.

Projects implemented by these institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented at the meeting, whereas Minister Forto expressed full support of the Ministry to joint coordination of the said projects.

It was commonly agreed that the EU funds are a prerequisite for the digital transformation, as well as investments in digital infrastructure and launching of e-services that will simplify many processes and be financially more favourable to the BiH citizens.
