The Agreement will regulate the method of financing and the development of project and technical documentation, administrative procedures for environmental impact assessment, obtaining location requirements, approvals and construction permits for the Project.

Minister Mitrović expressed his satisfaction with signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina noting that he hopes the cooperation on future projects will continue in the coming period, with the support of President Vučić and the Government of Serbia, as has been the case so far.

“We have turned towards Serbia and Serbia has shown it has taken care of the people across the Sava River“, said Mitrović.

Minister Momirović stressed that Serbia will continue to increase investments in BiH.

“We are quite advancing on the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway construction, the section between Kuzmina and Sremska Rača. The bridge is almost complete and the works from Bijeljina towards the Sava, that the Government of the Republic of Serbia, on the initiative of the President Vučić, assisted and supported by providing some EUR 100 mil., will begin soon. said Minister Momirović.

The project is implemented with the support of the European Investment Bank and the European Commission by providing grants for the preparation of project documentation as well as for the construction work investments. The total value of the Project is estimated at EUR 9 mil.

Bilateral meeting was held, following the Agreement signing ceremony.
