Minister Edin Forto held today a meeting in the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, which was also attended by the state-level Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac, and Minister of Security, Nenad Nešić, as well as the Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Ognjen Janjić.

Initiative to introduce regular bus service from Trebinje to Herceg Novi and Trebinje to Dubrovnik was endorsed at the meeting.

All agreed on the necessity to establish integrated border crossings and to improve the functioning of local border crossings used for cross border traffic between BiH, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia, with special emphasis on the international border crossing Izačić – Ličko Petrovo Selo, where, for the time being, traffic will be operated in a single lane for state border crossings between BiH and Croatia.
