At the proposal of the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously adopted a one-year moratorium on taxes for departing passengers that will be effective as of beginning next year.

“In this way, we encourage foreign airlines to increase their presence in BiH and introduce as many lines as possible from Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, and Mostar, to increase the number of passengers”, said Minister Forto.

The change of regulation was adopted with the aim of increasing the number of flights and serious development of air traffic in the country, and it is the outcome of a number of meetings held in the last several months by the Commission for transport and communications of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.
