Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, met today with the Minister of State for Europe and Climate at the German Federal Foreign Office, Anna Lührmann, with whom he discussed the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at proposal of the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adopted the decision to ensure 4 million KM for Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina for studio and production capacities for the HD resolution signal production, and 3 million KM to the Entity Governments to encourage the development of electronic media sectors.
Multiannual problems regarding entrusted public tasks under the competence of the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina have finally been fully analysed and compiled in the Report of the Audit Office of the Institutions of BiH on the performance audit “Entrusted public tasks under the competence of the institutions of BiH: case study: Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH” that has been adopted today by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, met today with the Director of the French Development Agency for Western Balkans Regional Office, Arnaud Dauphin.
“We wish to begin with complete reconstruction of the railway from Doboj to Zvornik and further towards Serbia. There is a strong interest of that country to apply for EU grunts with us in the following period in order to make this railway the artery of the largest industrial region in BiH” said Minister Edin Forto after the meeting the representatives responsible for railway infrastructure.
Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, attended the presentation organised by the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) where the possibility for activating digital signature – eIdentity via IDDEEA homepage was presented to wider public.
Director of Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tageltija, handed over today the digital qualified signature to the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto.
The Commission for the investigation into the cause of the accident of the “Aleksander Schleicher” K8B glider, registration number E7-1126 that took place on 27 September 2023 in the village of Zavalje on the slopes of the Plješevica mountain near Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was appointed by the Decision of the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and made the Final accident report that was published on the Ministry’s webpage.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be the only country in Europe that is not covered with digital signal, said the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, after the signing of the Contract for the procurement of equipment for digital transmission and broadcasting of Public Broadcasting Services in Bosnia and Herzegovina worth 25.8 KM (VAT excluded).
