The project, implemented by the UPU Expert Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is led by the experts delegated by the UPU, Nikola Trubint from Serbia and Yuri Spiriev from Bulgaria. The project goal is to draft a strategic document for the development of postal traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the UPU methodology.

The main purpose of the postal sector reform is to ensure the fulfilment of the state’s obligations in terms of providing universal postal service and creating the preconditions necessary for modernisation of postal sector, whereby this project serves as an excellent opportunity for all involved stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina to create a reform master plan together with the UPU experts which is in line with the IPDP methodology.

Both the citizens and the economy will benefit from fulfilling certain criteria, ultimately resulting in the growth of postal industry.
