After the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina supported joining of Bosnia and Herzegovina the Digital Europe Programme, following the proposal by the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, the Agreement received the unanimous support of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, enabling its signing in the near future.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina shall no longer be the only Western Balkan country which is not member of the Digital Europe Programme. By singing the Agreement with the European Commission, interested citizens, non-governmental organisation, public administrations and businesses from Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the opportunity to apply for funds amounting to KM 1.5 billion. Significant support is thus provided in the process of digital transformation, in the interest of our citizens and with the aim of catching up with European standards in this area”, said Minister Forto.
