Following the working visit to Tirana, BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Vojin Mitrović, held a meeting in Podgorica with the BiH Ambassador to Montenegro, Branimir Jukić, to discuss infrastructure projects of relevance for the two countries.

The focus of their discussion was the Agreement on the Construction of an Interstate Bridge over the Tara River on the Hum – Šćepan Polje road. Minister Mitrović informed Ambassador Jukić that the funds for the project have been provided, however the consent by the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury is still pending.

Minister Mitrović noted that one of the priorities both for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro is the reconstruction of the Hum – Šćepan Polje road, which, as he concluded by passing it from Tirana, is in terrible condition.

They both agreed that the Adriatic-Ionian highway and the railway from Čapljina via Trebinje to Nikšić would contribute to developing tourism and connecting the two regions, which would ultimately result in improved countries' infrastructural connections.
